A 25-year-old woman from Aigburth and a 23-year-old man from Toxteth were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs and handling stolen goods, after officers recovered numerous bags containing of what is thought to be cocaine, heroin and cannabis with a street value of £50,000.
A black specialised mountain bike was also recovered.
The pair have been taken to a police station on Merseyside where they will be questioned.
Detective Sergeant Mark Saunderson said: “The execution of these warrants and the arrest of this pair, are a result of a planned operation based on information from a variety of sources. We hope this type of activity demonstrates to our communities, our determination to target those we suspect are involved in serious and organised crime.
